History Factory Appoints New Executive Team
Next Generation Leadership Team in Place
January 25, 2022 – History Factory, the brand heritage and archives management company, announced today a new executive team to lead the firm into a new era and position it for maximum growth. Effective immediately, Jason Dressel is CEO, Alan Maites is Chief Solutions Officer and Adam Kirshon is Chief Operating Officer. Dressel and Maites are long-serving executives with History Factory; Dressel most recently served as President and Maites as Executive Vice President. Kirshon joined the firm in 2020 as Senior Director of Operations. History Factory Founder Bruce Weindruch is retaining the title Founder and transitioning to President and CEO of Informative Design Group, History Factory’s parent company.
The new team is the culmination of a systematic long-term succession strategy that History Factory announced in February 2021.
“In 1979, History Factory was a good idea,” Weindruch added.“Jason, Alan and Adam all came along at different times and in their own ways helped us build a great company. This is absolutely the right team to lead our firm into the future. I couldn’t be prouder about where we are headed.”
“When Bruce founded History Factory it was a totally fresh idea and there was nothing quite like it in the marketplace, and that still holds true today,” said Dressel. “Our new leadership team is committed to respecting our own heritage while reimagining what the future of history and heritage means for the world’s most consequential companies and brands.”
History Factory was founded in 1979 to help leading organizations harness and leverage their history as an authentic and informative communication tool. Over time, as more corporations came to embrace the power and value of their history, History Factory expanded to become a full-fledged consultancy providing programs that enhance and transform strategy, brand positioning, marketing, and communications across channels, including experiential events and exhibits, publications, video storytelling, training programs and customer engagement. Its clients are the largest, most recognizable global corporations, not-for-profits and trade associations, touching all major economic sectors.
