As one of the first charity hospitals in the country, University Health Care System (which joined the Piedmont System in 2022) deserved to take some time for itself at its centennial. This exhibit blends simplicity with thoughtfulness, packing the highlights of the history of the Heart & Vascular Institute (now the Piedmont Augusta Vascular Lab), where it is located, and University Health into just a few tinted panels and artifact display windows.
